In Garnett's imagination, Lin Ze should now say something like "I can dodge it even without being reminded" or "You can't catch me," and then he can continue to counterattack.

Seeking a safer approach, Lin Ze had no choice but to pass the ball to Hubble and proceed with a positional attack.
"All you can do is call for help? Huh, kid? Don't you have the guts to fight me one-on-one? Huh? Softie! Trash!" Garnett roared angrily.
He knew his words were childish, but he couldn't help it. One reason was to vent his anger, but the other, more importantly, was that he might make Lin Ze lose his temper and actually fight him one-on-one.
Garnett firmly believed that he could kill Lin Ze in a one-on-one situation.
"Kobe!" Lin Ze suddenly shouted, "Didn't I just tell Shaq? Didn't you hear me? I told you to stop your damn screens... no, stop your damn help defense! Let me take on this tough-looking, fierce, but shit-smelling softie one-on-one!"
Kobe glanced at the two of them, remaining silent, but he had received Lin Ze's signal.

After muttering something to himself, Kobe received the ball in the frontcourt and waved.
Lin Ze quickly stepped forward to set a screen for Kobe.
The two then quickly separated, with Kobe accelerating and breaking through Malik Healy's defense in the blink of an eye.
Garnett glared at Lin Ze, then had no choice but to retreat to the basket to help defend Kobe.
Kobe immediately turned and passed the ball to Lin Ze outside the three-point line.

"Huh? I'm a little confused by Jackson's lineup!" Wilmarcus said, frowning after the timeout. "Why did he substitute Lin?"
"He just scored 9 points, and made all 3 of 3 shots. It's hard to understand why they'd substitute the player who led the team to such a dream start!"
