Chapter 15 Potions Class
Chapter 15 Potions Class
[Night: Ding—The task of reading ten books about potions has been completed.]
[Rewards: Complete potion recipes and brewing methods, 20 magic control points, 200 experience points]
I finally finished reading ten books on potions around midnight. I don't know if it was because I drank coffee, but I was still very energetic, so I decided to sort out my thoughts.
Chronologically speaking, I'm in the same cohort as the Geminis, so next year should be Cho Chang's enrollment year, and the year after that will be Harry's cohort.
That means I only have two years to develop, and I need to start planning and deploying some things.
In terms of age, Percy Weasley and Oliver Wood are the priority targets, followed by Cedric Diggory. Since Cho Chang will be appearing next year, it seems I need to work on increasing her affection level with her.
The rest will have to wait until Harry enrolls. Right now, the most stable thing is Severus's favorability.
There's also Tom Riddle (the handsome version), which is based on Harry's second-year diary, otherwise you wouldn't find a younger version of Voldemort.
I also need to record the events that happen in Harry's timeline in advance, just in case I've missed anything.

The lucky draw gift pack system is now available.
(Jin, I almost forgot about the lucky draw gift pack system if I hadn't checked. Let me introduce this system.)
[Jin: Okay, host. This lucky draw system requires the affinity points of the target to spin. The items you get are generally related to the target and are designed to help you better woo them. The deduction for each spin is based on your level. For example, levels 1-10 deduct 10 affinity points and the item you get is roughly bronze-level; levels 11-20 deduct 20 affinity points and the item you get is roughly gold or bronze-level, and so on.]
(Gold, can the items obtained from opening them also increase favorability?)
[Jin: Yes, host, you could say that each item obtained might have different effects.]
(I'll stock up a bit more then. I feel like my current bond points aren't enough for me to play a few more rounds. Let me check which of my tasks I haven't completed yet.)
[Jin: Target of his pursuit is Severus Snape,]
A wall slam attempt on Severus Snape, incomplete.
Rewards: 100 Bond Points, 100 Experience Points, 10 Favorability Points, 1 Luck Point.
[Jin: The target of his pursuit is Cedric Diggory,]
Please discuss your Transfiguration experience with him. (Incomplete)
Rewards: 100 Bond Points, 100 Experience Points, 10 Favorability Points, 1 Luck Point.
[Jin: Target of his pursuit - Fred Weasley]
A conversation with him about making money was not completed.
Rewards: 100 Bond Points, 100 Experience Points, 10 Favorability Points, 1 Luck Point.
[King: Target of his affections - George Weasley]
A conversation with him about making money was not completed.
Rewards: 100 Bond Points, 100 Experience Points, 10 Favorability Points, 1 Luck Point.
Giving Severus a wall slam might require an opportunity, there's no rush now. Cedric Diggory's mission might be completed the day after tomorrow. The Gemini mission is a bit difficult; I don't know if some money-making tricks from my past life will still work. I'll try them out sometime.
(Shielding gold)
(Night. I've just finished a mission. Shouldn't I have a new one?)
[Night: Ding—A potion has been successfully brewed. Perfect level required.]
[Reward: 10 Magic Control Points, 100 Experience Points]
Looks like I need to make sure tomorrow's potions class goes perfectly. Time to wash up and go to bed, and get some rest for tomorrow's lesson.
……………………(I am a dividing line)
At 7 a.m., I quickly got ready, dressed neatly, put on my robe, and left the Slytherin common room, heading straight for the kitchen.
I quickly prepared breakfast for myself and Coach Stalin; now only Coach Stalin gets to enjoy the breakfast I made myself.
I sat gracefully at the table and chair that my little one had lovingly prepared for me, enjoying the breakfast I had made myself. It was another bright and sunny morning!
I was the first to arrive at the potions classroom again. I found a seat in the front row and sat down to wait, taking out my textbook for another round of review.
Today, Slytherin and Gryffindor were in class together again. As class time approached, the young wizards gradually entered the classroom.
Just as the twins arrived, Severus strode quickly toward the podium as if carried by a gust of wind.
"You have come here to learn the precise science and rigorous process of this potion-making technique."
Since there are no silly wands being waved here, many of you won't believe this is magic.
I don't expect you to truly appreciate the wonderful sensation of a large pot simmering slowly over a low flame, steaming and releasing a delicate fragrance. You won't truly understand the wondrous magic of the fluid that flows into people's veins, captivating their hearts and minds, and making them lose their senses...
"I can teach you how to increase your reputation, brew glory, and even stop death—but there's one condition: you must not be the kind of fools I often encounter." With this classic Severus quote as the opening, all the young wizards quietly watched Severus on the platform.
Wow! I'm so excited! This is the live version of the classic Potions class opening that so many Harry Potter fans have been waiting for.
"What are you all standing there for? Immediately, right now, get to your seats. You don't need your professors to help you find your seats, do you?" Severus's arrogant quotes resurfaced.
The little wizards who were just standing there blankly all quickly sat down in the nearest seats. Since the twins had only just arrived in the classroom, they didn't sit with me this class.
It seems this year's Slytherin class is an odd number, and I'm honored to be the extra one, sitting alone at a table. I don't mind, as no one's causing trouble, and I'm even more confident in making a finished potion.
"Now open your textbooks, remember what materials are needed for this lesson, go to the herbalist's stall one by one to get what you need, and follow the steps I projected to complete the potion you're going to make in your first lesson." Great job, Severus, he gets right to making potions right off the bat.
In my past life, I learned quite a bit about medicinal herbs in order to make delicious soups, so some of the names are not very similar. Also, the 'Complete Recipes and Refining Methods of Magic Potions' reward for completing the task last night came at just the right time.
I gathered the materials I needed and started working on them diligently. It felt really smooth, and by following the system's optimal method, the potions I made looked better and better.
"Two more redheads, Mr. Weasleys! Can you tell the professor what this is? What's in your heads stuffed with reeds? Didn't you see the operating procedure written on the podium? Gryffindor, deduct 10 points!" Severus's furious roar came just as I finished filling the potion.
Hearing that roar, they already knew what was going on; they knew that the arrogant Sorcerer Cult would definitely come after them.
I peeked out and saw that Gemini is in trouble this time.
"What are you all looking at? Have you finished your potions?" Severus swept his gaze across them, and they all lowered their heads like geese.
Severus gradually made his way to my table and saw the beautiful bottle of potion.
"Hmm, very good, perfect quality, Slytherin +10 points." It was clear that Severus was very satisfied with this potion, feeling that this guardian who had been handed over by the old bee was not bad.

Training room is now open.
As the mission was completed, Night was upgraded and a training room was opened, so now there's no need to worry about not having a place to train.
In the last class, I was the only one who completed the potion-making, while the Gryffindor boys were relentlessly penalized by the instructors for various mistakes, especially the twins, who were penalized almost 50 points. It's only the first week of school, and they're really going to get negative points.
